Weddings to Remember

Remember my wedding, as if it was just yesterday. It was a dream wedding and thanks to my awesome parents and families for their kind support. Our wedding was known to be the first to be held at the Fiji Suva Yacht club on 27 July 2004 and it was a trial run for the Suva Yacht club then, therefore it was very raw and bear, nothing like today.

Just like in the movies, i still remember my love being brought over in a boat to the docking booth and walked over to the bure (Fijian Thatched house) for our wedding vows. Everything else was vague and blacked out as my focus was just on this beautiful person, soon to be my wife.

Now, 10, 000 miles away and 20 years later, i am thankful that our wedding costs were not as expensive as it is nowadays. Hope and pray that this newly weds will not be overwhelmed by the costs but rather have the focus on each other. This has challenged me to beat every wedding costs that's out there, main thing is getting the lovers to say 'I Do'.

Weddings shouldn't be that difficult or expensive, where has all this commercialization taken weddings to be unreacheable and overwhelming. It should be simple, easy and cost-effective, so that couples can move on in life without great debts to anyone.
